Who am I? ....
A
native of Cape Breton (Sydney), I'm currently retired after
serving 34 years & 8 days with Royal Canadian Air Force
and Canadian Forces, having signed up just before Paul Hellyer's dastardly
deed.
Postings
include Bagotville Quebec, Greenwood NS and
Cold Lake Ab. As an airframe tech I worked on the CF101A & B Voodoo Interceptor, the Argus Maritime Patrol aircraft
as well as its successor the CP-140 Aurora, the CF-5
Freedom Fighter, and the CF-188 Hornet. My last assignment
was with 439 Combat Support (Tiger) Squadron
which flies both the CT-133 Silver Star (which is almost
as old as I am) and the CH-146 Griffon which is an off
the shelf Bell 412 helicopter.
Passionately
fascinated by computers for the past 20 years, I enjoy
programming databases and surfing the web, combining a
love of aviation, history & computers to develop
the
unofficial homepage of
