Lockheed-Martin CC-130J HERCULES

Canada has purchased a CC-130J Hercules fleet of 17 aircraft from Lockheed Martin. This tactical airlift fleet will be delivered to the Air Force beginning in June 2010.

The fleet will be used in a variety of missions, including troop transport, tactical airlift, search and rescue, tactical air-to-air refuelling, support to Disaster Assistance Response Team deployments and aircrew training.
