These pages will show the wide and varied operational history of Canada's Air Force. Air Force personnel have been deployed across Canada and throughout the world. Each list contains a listing of the Stations and in the future a description of the Station and the units / aircraft operated. Use the links to the left to view the various station lists.
A station is a permanent Air Force operations location. Many stations are aerodromes, or airbases, being the home to one or more flying squadrons. Other stations are training units, administrative units, headquarters (HQ), or carry out ground-based operational tasks.
The Canadian Air Force has operated from many diverse locations in its history. These include all across Canada form the Atlantic to the Pacific and up in the Arctic. As well, during times of war, the Air Force has operated from many bases overseas. During the Second World War the RCAF operated from England, Northeast Africa, Sicily, Italy, Burma and after D-Day from France, the Netherlands and Germany.
