The pictures in this collection are from my father's files, and the people shown were all friends and comrades, many of who did not survive the war. Only a handful are alive today and they are passing away at an almost exponetial rate.

Prince Albert was home to both #6 EFTS and #6 AOS schools during the second world war. The M & C Aviation company was largley responsible for the success of both schools.
In 1958 I entered the Royal Netherlands Air Force for pilot training. I was selected to go to Canada. Arriving at the first station RCAF Centralia, Ontario in May 1959. After graduating from Language School I entered Primary Training School. First flight in a Chipmunck trainer was made in B-Flight on June 29, 1959.
RCAF Stations Fort Churchill was a cold weather testing facility. The stations was used extensivly by the RCAF and USAF for cold weather trials.
