"They've adopted "Jane". FO Lawrence Jackson, Halifax, N.S., who
flies
with a R.A.F. rocket-firing typhoon wing in Holland watches with
interest
while his companions of "Janes" Squadron affix copies of the
famous British
comic strip "Jane" to the long range tanks for jettisoning
on German town of
Munster. The squadron has been "adopted" by the
real-life "Jane" and benefits
in comforts which her fund provides."
